Prof. Xin Ren

Nanjing Tech University, China

Biography:

Dr. Xin Ren is a Full Professor at the Centre of Innovative Structures and Deputy Director of the Department of Intelligent Construction and Management, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Tech University. He graduated with a Ph.D. from RMIT University, Australia in 2017. He is a Vebleo Fellow; Winner of the Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund in China; an Excellent young teacher of the "Qing Lan Project" in Jiangsu Province; Top-notch talent of middle-aged and young people in Nanjing. Member of the International Negative Poisson's Ratio Materials and Structure Academic Committee (the only one in mainland China); Member of the Royal Society of Victoria, Australia; Reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Member of the Youth Working Committee of the Jiangsu Mechanics Society; Vice president of the Young Teachers Association of Nanjing Tech University. Published more than 50 journal papers, including four "ESI Highly Cited" papers, with a total cited number of more than 1,850 times (Google Scholar: H-index is 21). Acted as Editorial Board or Youth Editorial Board for the following international journals: Defence Technology (JCR-Q1); Mechanics of Advanced Materials and Structures (JCR-Q2); Chinese Journal of Applied Mechanics. Acted as Guest Editor for the following international journals: Engineering Structures (JCR-Q1), Buildings (JCR-Q1), and Applied Sciences (JCR-Q2). Mainly engaged in the research of structural engineering, new materials, new structures, mechanical metamaterials, composite materials, etc.

Assoc. Prof. Imtiaz Ahmad

Mirpur University of Science and Technology, Pakistan

Biography:

Imtiaz Ahmad serves as an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at the Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST) in Mirpur AJK, Pakistan. His diverse research interests span pavement engineering, encompassing the study of pavement materials and design, simulations, computational mechanics, and predictive analysis.

Assoc. Prof. Leiming Wang

University of Science and Technology Beijing, China

Biography:

Associate Professor Leiming Wang is mainly engaged in the field of "Green Mining of Metallic Mineral Resources", and has been selected for the National Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program (400 persons/year) and the Beijing Municipal Association for Science and Technology Young Talent Support Project (500 persons/year). He is now an associate professor and master's supervisor in the Department of Resource Engineering of University of Science and Technology Beijing. He has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Faceted Project, Youth Project, Beijing Natural Science Foundation (BNSF) Faceted Project, National Ministry of Human Resources and Social Affairs (MOHRS) Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Supporting Program, Sub-tasks of the National Key R&D Program, and the Faceted Project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has published over 60 signed papers to date, with a significant portion of these, more than 30 SCI/EI papers, being published as the first or corresponding author. Additionally, he holds 17 authorized national invention patents and 1 U.S. patent.

Assoc. Prof. Ruiqing Lang

Tianjin Chengjian University, China

Biography: 

Ruiqing Lang is an Associate Professor at Tianjin Chengjian University. His main research interests include soft ground treatment, soil-structure interaction, and marine soil mechanics. He has presided over a number of national and provincial natural science foundation projects. He has published many SCI and EI papers.
